I've decided to put the thread up today as it's our birthday    147 and still going strong   and to coincide with the launch of, what we hope will be, a site that New606 should have been

It's going to be short and sweet as it's so early because we can't speculate on the team or owt until we find out if all our International Players have come through unscathed

As with the last thread, I missed the last match   that's three in a row   so I can't really comment on what happened. From the reports we were a tad unlucky and deserved at least a point   or a win   or a defeat

I know you all say that Maguires been shit so far but from what I seen last week I didn't think he was as bad as you make out, his workrate was good and chased things down at times, he didn't give Antonio a seconds peace (other than the goal...and perhaps the cross which narrowly missed Assombalonga's head)...ok he's played better but I think he should start...he does have goals in him after all, just hope a performance on the ball goes with the amount of workrate he puts in this time.

He doesn't even work hard Chez. He may have tracked back with Antonio a few times but that's rare.

If we are to progress we have to have better players in the side. Drenthe is a better player.

Yeah Drenthe IS better don't get me wrong. But I think Maguire deserves another outing and if he doesn't perform then yeah, drop him and give Maghoma or even give the young lad Stobbs a chance.
