I've decided to put the thread up today as it's our birthday

As with the last thread, I missed the last match
that's three in a row so I can't really comment on what happened. From the reports we were a tad unlucky and deserved at least a point

I know you all say that Maguires been shit so far but from what I seen last week I didn't think he was as bad as you make out, his workrate was good and chased things down at times, he didn't give Antonio a seconds peace (other than the goal...and perhaps the cross which narrowly missed Assombalonga's head)...ok he's played better but I think he should start...he does have goals in him after all, just hope a performance on the ball goes with the amount of workrate he puts in this time.

He doesn't even work hard Chez. He may have tracked back with Antonio a few times but that's rare.
If we are to progress we have to have better players in the side. Drenthe is a better player.

Yeah Drenthe IS better don't get me wrong. But I think Maguire deserves another outing and if he doesn't perform then yeah, drop him and give Maghoma or even give the young lad Stobbs a chance.
