The problem with a wish list like that is that some of them are simply unachievable in any society. A society free of prejudice????? Prejudice, hatred and racism will always exist, its how as a society we view it and deal with it that important, but it will always be there. I'm not sure the last one makes me laugh or despair?? Foreign policy cannot have a single style or goal, it has to be different for different countries and it has to have enourmous flexibility.
Privatization of industries is something I would be completely against, Governments have shown little to no ability to be able to run a service industry effectively, economically or without problems. The rail system is in a competitive situation with other forms of transport and as we have seen with the NHS adequate funding will always be a problem. Ultimately this will end up costing the average British taxpayer more money in terms of direct taxes for a service that will end up being barely adequate. I worked in the civil service for a time and to see the lack of understanding of any sort of efficiency or profit/loss or solving a problem without throwing more money at it was scary. The NHS is effectively a millstone round the neck of every UK government, to run it effectively will cost a lot of money and that will only come from taxpayers pockets.

germany is calling for more privatisation of industry at the moment, and have run service industries well there. No way would they or the french surrender their national assets to foreign companies like we have. Its an absolute joke that our rail service in scotland is run for the benefit of a dutch companies shareholders.
The first problem corbyn has is uniting the party, and with the polls showing them 15 points behind (thats 110 seats) you have to think the damage is done anyway from the coup if may goes to the country next year. With the boundary changes coming in corbyn doesn't stand a hope, even before you take into account south and middle englands long standing, traditional dislike of left wing politics.
In saying that i think its a real shame...i think we desperately need a voice of dissent in parliament. The tories and labour are way too close as it stands, its just not healthy for british society.

An uncaring Conservative party or a different Labour party with proper left wing policies that don't just benefit the rich.
And who says that Corbyn is unelectable anyway? The right wing media. Maybe true, but can you name one Labour politician who could lead the party to an election win? No, because even if Smith had won yesterday, he would not have had any chance of winning a General Election. The SNP have seen to that. They're the ones who have got us stuck with a generation of Tory governments.
We can't beat the Tories in England without a united United Kingdom.
What are the aims of the SNP? Are they UKIP in a kilt? Please explain, cos I don't know what it is you're actually wanting.
Good comments! Re your last para, isn't Tory politics, the presence of a current Tory govt and the divisive nature of Conservatism with it's predictable political ideologies, some of the factors why we are not united?? As for the SNP being compared to UKIP. Well UKIP tried to make inroads into the Scottish political scene during the last election but Farage and his cohorts failed because most Scottish voters have no time for the RW scaremongering tactics that they deployed in England. So why would we vote for the SNP? One thing to note is the SNP is not comparable to UKIP! The NLP's failure in Scotland is the SNP's gain and the reasons for Labour's collapse of it's block vote are - 1. Because of the political fallout from the post Blair and embarrassing Brown era 2. The lack of any kinda decent political leader to guide the party to some kinda stability 3. The contemptuous manner in which the NLP took Scottish Labour voters 'for granted' 4. The perceived collusion of the NLP 'joining hands' with the Tories to try and stop Scot Indy during the referendum of 2014 - never forgotten by thousands and thousands of disgusted Scottish NLP voters and other Scottish voters as well!! 5. The realisation that the SNP represented the best interests of the Scottish people - not perfect by the way but what UK political party is?? 6. The SNP leaders were still regarded very highly compared with all other political opponents - a different level of political opponent with a certain level of pragmatism attached to Scot gov policies and generally regarded to be 'doing a good job under difficult economic circumstances'.
The mandate of the SNP is to ultimately gain Scottish independence but, as the Scot First Minister has consistently uttered - they won't attempt to do that unless the 'mood' of the Scottish people significantly swings towards separatism due to one or other significant political event. Otherwise they'll work towards a 'devo max' model of governance and not the half-baked one that was foisted upon them roughly a year after the unionist/Tory/NLP triumphalism that was displayed in England after the 'no vote' prevailed against Scot indy in 2014!
The New Labour Party will not have any great political significance in Scotland any time soon and neither will UKIP!

correct. scottish labour betrayed their own people and did camerons dirty work during indie ref,and were mostly a shower of corrupt, incompetent fan dans.
Of course none of this is jeremy corbyns fault, labour had been in decline long before his arrival on the scene and not just in scotland. But its a question he has no real answer to either. He'd be better just to concentrate on making labour more cohesive and clear in policy in england for the time being.

Genuine question but how did labour betray their people during the referendum?? Wasn't the Labour Party stance always to keep the union together?? If so then the outcome was what they wanted and what they should have campsigned for. In this instance, just like with Brexit they found themselves on the same side as Cameron. Besides, 60% of the population voted no and that was inline with Labour wasn't it?
Problem for Labour is without doing well in Scotland and Wales they will struggle to get the tories out of power and that will lead to Corbin's demise ultimately.

As soon as labour politicians started saying things like they would rather scotland failed than not be part of the union,or that even if its people were more prosperous outside of the union they would want us to stay in then they were doomed. scottish labours vote deserted them in swathes for the snp. Basically they now see labour politicians self interest and how they will always put the gravy train of westminster before scotland.
Labour authored its own collapse in Scotland. The blame lies at its own door. The blame seems to be drifting on to corbyn for this, but that seems ludicrous. It is for him to fix but i can't see it happening any time soon.

Just look at Corbyn's current position with his Scottish counterparts. The leader of the SNLP, Dugdale, backed Owen Smith in that leadership challenge/vote and she didn't do it discreetly either!! She slagged off Corbyn as well! I never rated this woman as anything other than another lightweight leader attached to the NLP in Scotland - Jim Murphy's right-hand moll who was as shameless as he was with lotsa cheap rhetorical drivel and innuendo foisted on a Scottish electorate that had become politically 'streetwise' in 2014. She should've resigned like her beleaguered leader Murphy did but just proved she has no honour whatsoever like many other shameless political individuals who infect the political landscape with their presence, the 'me me brigade'!!

Also noticeable in Corbyn's closing speech this afternoon - no mention of Kezia Dugdale or the Scottish NLP and no surprise either! This ex Blairite, of the same iffy politics of her disgraced pal Jim Murphy, has 'set up her stall' and done it very badly AGAIN! I think Corbyn and his cohorts have been well enlightened by now!
