Yep! Celtic didn't dwell on offence by a miniscule number of fans in a 58k crowd. Their officials applauded the good behaviour of the majority of decent Celtic fans and avoided any slanging match.
And an Old Firm Premiership confrontation finally looms closer!

There is no point in getting involved in a prolonged slanging match, an element of both sets of fans did wrong and as 0762 pointed out until there is a strict liability scheme in place neither of them are under any pressure to take action.
Sevco should have kept their mouths firmly closed as well. After the pumping from motherwell, the cup final collapse to us and now an absolute doing from celtic you have had bizarre statements issued to deflect from their failures on the park. Celtic could easily have pointed out they have some nerve being offended by sectarianism when only the previous weekend they and their fans were indulging in questionable behaviour in Belfast,or their fans threatening the life of our current manager,or their fans singing "billy boys" throughout Saturday (a song admired by more than one board member). And they are moralising about sectarianism and hatred ? Gu-xxxx-haw. But aye, better to try and diffuse the situation.

Aye! In this case 'silence is golden' and Celtic's general silence was the right thing to do while the bad losing attitude of Rangers was there for all to see! Deja vu for us esp after our Scottish Cup final victory and their hypocrisy is breathtaking TBF. They never change and IMO they are owned and run by the wrong unscrupulous people!

It's a statement of pish every other week from them they have more than a chip on there shoulders more like a bag of tatties, that said what the Celtic fans done was stupid as for the green brigade how they are allowed in the stadium is beyond me,however along with that stay should have been one of apology for the vandalism there fans done they must have forgotten that until they receive the bill for the damage that is.

No place in football for the crap the 2 sets of supporters come out with even if it is the minority. I thank my lucky stars everyday that the plan to sneak them into the English game never came off

You need that 'loose baggage', attached to the OF, like a 'hole in the head' eh!

Aye there is enough trouble at English fitba as it is without adding them to the mix!

Trouble is one thing and that usually gets dealt with, it's all that sectarian bollocks I can't be doing with. It's a game of football FFS. The really shameful things is both clubs despite statements to say otherwise are happy to let it continue as the evidence with banners inside the grounds prove. Okay you can't do much about the chanting but clamp down on the things you can change
