Looks like Sturridge might not be injured after all and will report to England, just wrapped in cotton wool. Sterling and Hart definitely out.

Rashford is a big no for me!! Not proved anything yet, he needs to get a full season under his belt before he gets pitched into the senior squad, get him in the U21s and see how he does.

I'd rather Rashford go along for the ride than no hopers like Welbeck or Sturridge. Or Wayne Rooney who never scores in big tournaments.
Age is irrelevant. How old was Michael Owen when he came into the 98 World Cup? We're building for the next World Cup here. The Euros is nowt. It's a warm up for the World Cup. Use it for experience. Pick the squad that will be going to the World Cup.
Rooney, Welbeck and Sturridge are crocks.

Don't know why I'm saying all this though. I couldn't give a shit about international football.  Rolleyes

Deano says Wagner knows which Loan players he wants to keep, but doesnt say which, can only think Paterson and Stead for sure, maybe Husband. cant see Manu staying now we have Van La Parra, few months ago would have said Huws for sure , but think we'll be priced out also think we should focus more on bringing Billing and Dempsey along, they've done well when playing recently

Not entirely sure re Steer. He's Ok, but would prefer a bigger, more commanding keeper if given the choice. Don't think we'll get Steer though anyway, even if we do want him to be honest.

Steer is ok but I get the feeling he'll be battling it out with the other young lad at Villa for the first team spot next season.

Paterson, it's well known that we have some sort of agreement with Forest and I think Town would like to sign him.

Huws...no chance. Here are the reasons why.
1) Wigan will be back in the championship next season
2) They paid £3million for him and will want most of that back
3) Wages, we won't pay his wages alone(rumoured £40k week)

Manu....who? Panic January signing when VLP didn't come.

Husband...jury's out. But highly unlikely if you ask me.

Van Le Parra....done and dusted deal.

Have I missed anyone?

Interesting link on Pochettino. Strikes me that he and Wagner have much in common re: work ethic and application.
UTT!

Wildly off topic

Just been on YouTube and came across a couple of rather good austrian girl singers called monalisa twins (check em out!). They do mainly 60's stuff + some of their own.
Thing is their surname is Wagner. They are currently based in Liverpool. Any chance we could adopt them as club group and get them to do a concert at john smiths stadium?

Promise I won't go off_topic again!

However, England team very good tonight. Keep this bunch together they have skill, speed, youth and WANT to win unlike the decrepit bunch we normally put on the field.

Yes. It's high time we had some proper pre match entertainment like back in the old days. Thumb up

And don't worry about going off topic. That's what this thread is for.
