Good opportunity for O' Halloran or King to establish themselves, with Miller and Clark covering the centre forward slot adequately. Waghorn is a loss, sure, but it might not turn out to be such a big one.
Edit: Waghorn himself confirms the six to eight week lay off, but is aiming to recover quickly.

Predictably, STV journos are now trying to make a big thing of the 'unforgiving' comment about the pitch. Warburton will have been 'fuming' and 'raging' about it before you know it. Wait and see.
Just wait until the local Editors get a hold of this one: "Waghorn claims Killie pitch strewn with anti personnel mines...Warburton takes out contract on groundsmen".
