Mad Friday Madness - Who Will Duff Duff Take a Punt On
#11
Listened to the game on the radio and I've now watched the highlights. Have to ask the question, how did they get a point at Wrexham?

Marshall looked lively and deserved the man of the match award. But Duff has really turned around the attitude and demeanor of our club and dereves praise for that. Can't wait for Boxing Day.

There were supposedly nearly 7000 in a stadium that holds 8000 yet their one decent stand (South Stand, cantilever roof - supposedly away fans according to The Football Ground Guide, but clearly it isn't anymore, we were in the South Habbin Stand which only holds 1000+ standing and seating, their loss not ours) wasn't even close to half full. Given it holds ~1600, where did those 3-600 actually sit? I really doubt there were much more than 500 in there. I know we make our "attendance" look big due to season tickets sold, not bums on seats, but they could have had a near sell-out had they stuck to their original "away fans behind the goal" plan. Don't tell me they couldn't use the extra £15,000-£20,000. If home fans were moaning about away fans having the best stand and making the most noise in the ground, why aren't they in there in bigger numbers?

Family Stand? Spot the kids.
