Between Annie and (I think) Liz Allen or Dot Box (might be wrong) on Pennine Radio, as it was back then, they got me through many a late night writing up my college homework. When Annie took over OGWT from 'Whispering' Bob Harris, I wondered would it still be the same and would it last? As it turned out she was the safest pair of hands it could ever have been passed to in my opinion.
