The Georgia case is ongoing, its the top of this list of cases against him. It will likely face a rocky path as the State of Georgia has a Republican led Legislature mainly due to gerrymandering the constituency lines to make sure Republicans win.

The fact that he tried to rig the election multiple times, during and after and he openly, on TV, incited the mob in Washington that has seen several already rightly jailed, you would like to think are still hanging there for when the dominoes start to fall, but they do look like bigger and possibly lower hanging fruit than the "cooking the books" charges the press are telling us about at the moment.

Whilst he harps on about having the biggest vote ever of a sitting President, which he feels entitles him to still be there, he ignores the fact he was outvoted in total votes cast in both elections, because it doesn't suit his narrative.

Trump convicted in a civil court and appealing against his fine/punishment while playing the usual "offended party/witch hunt" card. It's curious and alarming listening to Trump's associates and supporters still playing on and believing the conspiracy to bring him down politically. I solidly believe the woman/writer, Ms Carroll, who was abused by him even though the antagonists are trying to place that "element of doubt" re her authenticity. It's absolutely scary to observe what looks like millions n millions of Americans who still act like dimwits-cult followers still backing Trump in spite of the damning shit that comes out of his own mouth coupled with his own horrible behaviour that borders on cringe - yesterday's man who IMO should be incarcerated for crimes against the American people, the Police and the sitting govt, and there are other crimes to take into account as well.

With the machinations of the US legal system (it makes ours look really efficient) he could be back in the White House for two years before they finally nail him. He has to turn up for a pow-wow with the local magistrates on Thursday, but unless there's something accusing him directly of killing those police officers, rather than just telling a load of porkey-pies (seems to be the main headlines) that lead to what happened next, he'll be free to spread more lies about how hard done by he is.
