Interesting to note that we now know from their accounts how much Ashley is owed by sevco - circa 8.5 million of which they have only paid 1.5. Lovely touch from Big Mike. I'm certain he is in the background with Castore somehow too.

Also note the costs on that Edmiston house development have spiralled out of control. Circa 14 million all in.

They might want to sack Gio but there would be no cash for a rebuild for the successor. Which is why i think they will stick with Gio for the time being, he's made it clear he isn't for walking away....without a big pay off.

Gio bagged and paid off, and it will be very interesting to see who takes that gig on. I suspect they might go for Beale but you wonder why they just didn't give it to him when gerrard left? Hassenhuttl has connections with their head of recruitment but you just wonder who is wanting the gig in these current financial circumstances ?
