Chuckies been booked in for a crown job. Hair transplant or tooth job,? Not confirmed yet but it will disguise problems with one or the other. It just 'appens to be the last day of the EFL season. Plonkers.
Good job you can't book train tickets yet, for me, those that live nearish to me, the Southern Section, not to forget our brave chaps up North and even further north of Hadrians Wall. - https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/sport/foo...s-25239989
At least there's some warning for this, but quite honestly, how many football fans would rather watch this Royal (I call it bollox, but some will call it pageant or similar fawning bollox) than their own team play on a Saturday afternoon? Given the choice, if they have the choice they can make their own mind up, given no choice, they don't.
It will be replayed non-stop on the BBC and ITV (72+ non-stop hours of Nicholas Witchell on BBC, cant wait ), for hours on end on all the news channels, for months on catch-up, so you can actually watch both if you really want to. The replay times for Town v Reading on ITV would be the most at risk after whatever Sky are planning. When do we get the replays?
Seriously, could this not be done on a Friday and give us all (well some of us) another unpaid or if you are lucky, paid day off?
If I'm quick enough (I wasn't when your mum died, Chuck) I might even get a round of golf in and then go and watch Town v Reading the day after.
Won't hold me breath, bet they shift all our games to Sunday (aren't they normally played on Sunday at 12:30 anyway?)

A guide to cask ale.
“In the best pubs, you can spend entire afternoons deep in refreshment without a care in the world.”
