You know i'll give some credit to van bronkhurst in that he seems a decent fella and doesn't play to the scum gallery like Gerrard and other rangers managers have in the past.
On the park RB should be stronger next week with players coming back, and big Gvardiol can move back to his natural position.

They are super fast on the break if opponents open up and try to win a match. I still think Eintracht Frankfurt will win this competition - very impressed by them, so dynamic and threatening v Barca and West Ham U and yet they sit 9th in the Bundesligue? I also think GVB and other Rangers players don't have a clue re the toxic nature of the footie club they work for. In the case of GVB, what an odd fit for such a decent character like him. There was a great video of him being "sworn in" at Ibronx as the new manager of RFC and the board member (Chairman?) conducting this ceremony gave a ceremony cup to GVB to toast the occasion. GVB returned the cup to the host who suddenly yelled out, "God save the Queen" before toasting the occasion!! Unbelievable!! The startled look on GVB's face "spoke volumes" re the anachronistic, backward nature of this footie club and the way they go about their business. That incident must have been an eye opener for the Dutchman. Obviously money plays a big part in these appointments anyway.

Also looks like Sevco will play PSV (or Monaco) in the next quali round of the Champions League if they manage to get past the Union outfit from Belgium.

I think he did it to test himself more than up here. It would have been easy to stay up here at Ibrox and just contest each year v Celtic. He probably knew that when the Anfield job comes available that the bosses there would be very unlikely to look to Scotland, so when the Villa job came up I think he had to take it to push himself and possibly put himself in the frame..........wonder if he regrets it now seeing the success Rangers have had in Europe whereas the Villa job is ramping up the pressure on him.
On the Villa forum there is a large growing anti Gerrard feeling and after Saturdays result I think he doesn't have many games to turn it around. No disrespect to Bournemouth but Villa are going to come up against some much bigger and better opposition in the next few weeks. Ironically one of the biggest dislikes is making McGinn captain and also playing him for 90 minutes each game whereas many fans would only start him on the bench!
