I'm glad. I don't think I wanted to see him in charge of another championship... as much as I love the baggies. The return to Town one day is still on....

Given The Hawthorns is the highest ground above sea level in Ingerland he could have ski'd down to any club in the land if he'd wanted to. Not many cable cars around for the lift back up mind. Not much snow either for the ski down during the past 30 odd years if truth be known.
Eee, the days when we had a Black Country Glacier flowing down off the Wrekin eh? Anyone getting the impression the Baggies have a press leaker like the plonkers in Downing Street? Assess the reaction then change tack accordingly?

They've nowt to do with our club anymore, but ex-Huddersfield Town promotion-winning heroes Mark Hudson, Michael Hefele, Elias Kachunga and Tommy Smith all joined in with a sponsored run for a young Town fan who's battling leukaemia.

Our season starts 7th August??
If that's the case then expect our first game to be away because the following week Leeds are away to Man Utd so we should be home that weekend Boxing Day should be a home game for us New Years Day away and we should have a home game to finish the season off.

Happy bunny if it works out like that - and Bodgit doesn't let any more bloody virus strains in and keeps us out of the stands.

Villa have had a £25m bid for young Smith-Rowe turned down.
Wonder why we never bought him.

14TH NAME ADDED TO TOWN’S ‘ROLL OF HONOUR’
https://www.htafc.com/news/2021/june/14t...of-honour/ Huddersfield Town’s Club Statistician Alan Hodgson, alongside Roger Pashby, has discovered a new name to be added to the Club’s Roll of Honour. The Roll of Honour commemorates those Huddersfield Town players who have given their lives in service of their country. Edwin Watson played six times for Town during the 1937/38 season; three times in Division One, and three games in the FA Cup, during which he scored once in a 2-1 sixth round win over York City. Edwin played as a centre-forward and at inside-left. He was then transferred to Bradford (Park Avenue) in April 1939. At the time of his death he was serving as a Flight Sergeant with 201 Squadron of the RAF Volunteer Reserve, based at RAF Pembroke Dock in Wales. On 12 June 1944 his aircraft was conducting anti-submarine sweeps over the Bay of Biscay when it was shot down with no survivors. His body was never recovered and he is commemorated on the Air Force's Runnymede Memorial in Surrey. Town’s full ‘Roll of Honour’ is now as follows: Larrett ROEBUCK Lance Corporal, 2nd Battalion, York & Lancaster Regiment Died 18 October 1914 Henry Cyril CROZIER Sergeant, 12th (Sheffield City) Battalion, York & Lancaster Regiment Died 1 July 1916 Charles Edward RANDALL Private, 4th Battalion, Coldstream Guards Died 27 September 1916 Dr Leigh Richmond ROOSE, M.M.
