31 Aug, 2021 Transfer Window: Championship Rebuild
On other site's it stated the Gayle wanted to come to us, but on a permanent deal.
He didnt like the fact that the "loan with view to permanent" only hinged on promotion.
Stating he wanted a more stable environment for his family.

Diangana is a midfield player Stairs.

I had to laugh at the Albion announcing Charlie Austin on twitter yesterday. They announced it a 3:16pm and people started tweeting Stone Cold Steve Austin memes at them. For anyone that used to watch WWF/WWE in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, you’ll remember that Stone Cold Steve Austin was known as 316.

I look forward to seeing how Stone Cold Charlie Austin does for us and if he can keep himself fit and firing for the entire season.

Just seen that Baggie One ...

It has now been confirmed that the Baggies will re-sign Gareth Barry once he returns to full fitness.

The 38-year-old provides invaluable experience to the squad, and is a natural leader and motivator in the dressing room.

Look forward to the season now; I think we'll do OK, but IMHO it's not just that - our signings look as though we're going to play on the front foot, as we always traditionally have. Until the departure of RDM? TOO long ago!
Huge credit to the board. A masterstroke getting SB in as HC...... I wonder just how many of those we've signed would've done so without him in post?

Finally, very sad to see Mozza go. In my opinion, one of our best players in the last 15 years, and DEFINITELY a great club man.
I know time marches on but I'll miss him not being around.
Cheers Mozza!

Agreed... Mozza a great club man & a very good Human being. Apart from Brunty, not many Loyal players around. Good Luck Mr Morrison for the future. Do please pop in every so often to the Shrine. Thumb up

Didn’t he also have fisticuffs with Gareth McAuley?
Shows you how thick he is thinking he could take on Big Gaz.  Hope he was laid out flat the waste of space.

Got to feel a tiny bit for Sjoke who paid us £12m and with his wages for the three years he’s been there and, if true, his £2.5m pay-off, he’s cost them in excess of £20m with a zero return.
