Rondon will return to the Albion before the Play-off games but will not be eligible to play n them - just a spectator.

But if we manage to get promoted his value will soar and Newcastle will have to wait until then before deciding whether they can afford him

That's true his buy our raises to £20 million (up 3.5M)  unfortunately Gayles will also go up - if we get promoted and want him ?
Newcastle / Ashbey's transfer policy doesn't allow that amount to be spent on a 30 year old either ?

I prefer the Who song:-

"Wont get fooled again". Angry
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.
Just a quick observation, I quote "The January transfer window starts ..... and closes at 5pm on a date sometime in August."

Being pedantic ..... surely the January transfer window starts and closes on a date in January whereas the Summer transfer window opens in July and closes at a date in August. Or am I missing the irony.

So first is a decision on a manager - Chris Hughton, Danny Cowley, Patrick Viera, Michael Appleton and Slavisa Jokanovic all rumoured to be of interest.

Then squad clear out before finally buying players - god knows from where.
6 Loan players will leave: Mason Holgate, Stefan Johansen, Jacob Murphy, Oluwatosin Adarabioyo, Dwight Gayle and Jefferson Montero

11 Loan Players will return – including Salomon Rondon, Allan Nyom and Oliver Burke.

11 Contracts expire June 2019: Boaz Myhill, Alex Palmer, Tyrone Mears, Kane Wilson, Kyle Howkins, James Morrison, Chris Brunt, Gareth Barry, Wes Hoolahan, Rekeem Harper, Kyle Edwards
