Problem is there is no legal requirement for him to release them, its completely up to him. This is why Congress have asked for them becuase they are able to do so for anyone via the IRS and if passed then they will be released to Congress but not necessarily to everyone.

I think this is a fitting tribute to Robert Mueller and his calm behaviour throughout his investigation while Trump and his corrupt operatives have whined and squealed for a very long time, again unprecedented during any US President's term of office!

Trump still getting the facts wrong re the Mueller report and what is the real definition of "obstruction" by a US President and the fact he is not being pursued on this violation alone!!!??

AG Barr has a lot to answer for.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/nat...&tid=sm_fb

Barr also testified to Congress under oath that he didn’t know whether Mueller supported his summary conclusion. This testimony came after the letter had been sent to him. Misleading Congress is not a good idea for AG Barr. People can go to prison for that.

Barr's behaviour and formal summation of Mueller's investigation is highly suspicious and no surprise that Robert Mueller subsequently challenged Barr re some of his biased conclusions. Again no surprise when one realises there is an element of "rotten practise" emanating from the White House.

The Republican controlled Senate Intel Committee has subpoenaed Donald Trump Junior to testify.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/08/politics/...index.html

It looks to be related to his previous testimony regarding his role in the Trump Tower Moscow deal. He may have perjured himself in that testimony.

Junior pleading the fifth in 3, 2, 1......
