Trump Watch activated!
The President has damaged himself again. The revoking of Brennan’s clearance was attributed to Brennan’s personal statements about the president. A few hours later Trump said to the Wall Street Journal that he did it because Brennan was one of the leaders of the Counter-Intelligence Investigation into Russian Interference and any ties with the Trump Campaign.

I don’t think the President understands that the Russia Investigation is in multiple parts. There was the Russian Interference and Hacking which has been proven with 12 Indictments against Russian Intelligence Officers. Then there’s the Trump Campaign’s ties to Russia and Trump’s Obstruction of Justice which are both linked to each other and separate to Russian Interference.

Obstruction, ignorance and stupidity at it’s finest.

Brennan's response is absolutely cutting and "to the point" - "We are witnessing the behaviour of a US President who behaves like some kinda tin pot dictator"! Also I notice there is a national protest of journos who have had enough of Trump's continuous attacks against them. I can't believe Trump is still in office!!

He is still in office because those who want him removed have no power to actually do that!! His base support is still very strong, he uses various media superbly to keep them stoked and full of hatred towards anything or anyone who criticizes their leader!! All of these events that we see weeks after week that would normally severely damage any normal politician are so cleverly dismissed by his administration across multiple platforms, and his supporters lap it all up as if its gospel!!

Nothing will change in the White House unless one of two things happen. First is if Mueller can actually bring strong enough and irrefutable charges that implicate Trump, although even then he will not go voluntarily and it will take a Republican backed move to have him removed. Secondly, and probably most likely currently, is that in the mid-term elections in November the Democrats can take control of the House or Senate and they can then have him impeached once they have enough evidence to do so.

Yes he has, but he has only damaged himself with the people who already see him in a bad light!! I doubt this latest one will have any effect on his supporters or the way they feel about him.

Gullible must be attached to a good proportion of the people who do support Trump SCO. Not the extreme or ultra right ones who are just "nutters" but others who just can't see common sense. Also I find it intriguing to see a significant rise of new candidates for the upcoming elections who are scientists or educationalists and definitely representing the Democrats - people who generally deal in facts and not "fake news shit" eh and that line is well past it's sell by date! People with a "cause", something to prove and definitely anti-Trump. Maybe this is the beginning of a new politic to start gradually pushing Trump out of office. I hope so!

Gullible is one word, uneducated is certainly another one for a decent percentage of them. Others are just die hard Republicans who no matter who the candidate is they will vote for them but I suppose that is no different to those who will only ever vote Democrat or Labor or Tory in the UK for that matter.

I have long advocated that we should expect our politicians to be well educated and intelligent. I am not trying to stop an ordinary man from having that aspiration but education should be a given for anyone in this sort of vital role. I am not bothered so much about what they get up to in their private lives as long as its not illegal, they are still human and life gets in the way for them as much as it does for us but having a good level of intelligence should be a prerequisite.

Yep! I certainly concur with those sentiments in a political world where any Tom, Dick or Donald can campaign and convince an unsuspecting public that he or she is the best person for the job.

The guys a scumbag, pure and simple.

I don't give a xxxx whether morons in the rustbelt think he is doing a great job or whether there is some conspiracy against him. They are just going to blame Obama after trump inevitably stuffs up their lives anyway.

To make America great again you are going to have to get shot of this racist carpetbagger fuckpig excuse for a human being. End of story.

Donald Trump played perfectly into the hands of the uneducated percentage of people in the US. He isn’t your typical politician, he’s simple minded, has a poor vocabulary and says what these people want to hear. It didn’t matter to them that he has no morals and he doesn’t come under the Republican “Family Values” mantra.

It doesn’t matter now that he possibly conspired with Russia to get elected, it doesn’t matter that there could be a tape of him using the n-word (it will embolden his white supporters and his black supporters will make excuses for him) and calling his son Eric a “retard”. They are in too deep and too brainwashed to see through it now. Even if he is impeached, convicted and removed from office and then indicted for Conspiracy against his own country, these same people will defend him.

People question how Germans believed so deeply in Adolf Hitler and the xxxx Party but systematic brainwashing is one hell of a tool to have. The current Administration is showing what brainwashing can do all over again.

In Paul Manafort news, I have read that the Prosecution has over 1000 pieces of evidence against him for the September case against him. His current case has over 300 and his team offered very little to counter it.

I think he is really fucked. He should cooperate after he’s found guilty of tax fraud and evasion but he won’t. He’ll be waiting for a political suicide pardon from Trump.

Both of them facing prison sentences and also Michael Cohen effectively "pointing the finger" at Trump as a co-conspirator in election campaign violations. Surely that means "rigging" an election to Trump's advantage and illegal practice under election rules n regs! Bring it on and lets finally "reel in" this corrupt US president, a guy we always knew was definitely "at it"!

Cohen has really put him in the shite. All over hush money to a porn star.... magic, the noose is tightening.

Watched a bit of his rally and he's basically on the same pish, boasting about the elite and Freedom, how good and smart he is, how rich he is, God,god, god WINNING..... couple of coal signs in the audience, obviously unaware that despite the subsidies they've dumped into coal the employment figures for that industry in that region have actually fallen since he came in and still are.

Drain the swamp indeed.
