Rangers' League Matches, Season 2016-2017
SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 21/05/2017 : St Johnstone 1-2 Rangers

From what I was able to ascertain from yet another staccato stream, it was a better 2nd half performance than was the first from Rangers, who finish with the win that takes the record to the best midtable positive can be, Wins equal other results and the GD is positive. Nevertheless, it has been a poor Season overall by Rangers' standards, something that is recognised across the spectrum, from Boardroom to the Playing staff to the Fans.

Congratulations are due to the Opposition, Celtic, who have gone through this SPL Season unbeaten. Well Done.

This is Celtic's second unbeaten Season, the first in the modern era. Both Rangers and Celtic went unbeaten in the early years of the Scottish League. Only Rangers have won every match played.

Unbeaten league season:

   Celtic..: P18 W15 D3 L0, 1897–98.
   Rangers.: P18 W18 D0 L0, 1898–99.

Which Rangers was that the old dead one going by the dates ?

Larry you must be so glad that Robbie left hearts or you would have finished 4th
Since the break against the top 5 teams
Humped by Celtic at home
Won a fantastic last min victory against a thistle team who dominated the game and have since lost 11 goals in 2 games
Scraped a 2-1 against hearts who's form under cathro is the second worst in the league
Decisively beaten at home by Aberdeen the fist loss there to them in decades
And won against a St Johnstone reserve team

Glad you are taking solace in the victory or the old club one hundred and 18 years ago
