That said corbyn doesn't need to win, he just needs the tories to lose. They will lose 9/10 seats in Scotland and a good few to Lib Dems and labour.The DUP looks gone now. It all depends on how many of the leave seats they take from labour, if they take enough they could well get a majority.
Labour really needed to move on Corbyn earlier this year and do a reset - he had his moment in 2017.
Have to remember though a lot of the polling companies are owned by people who are more likely to vote Conservative than any other political party so of course they will favour the Conservatives. It also depends on the question that is being asked and how it's being asked.
The Labour heartlands will be interesting because will they still remain towards Labour or will the Brexit Party split the vote allowing the Tories to take control of them. I think there is a lot more important issues than Brexit or Scottish independence at the moment. 2017 was meant to be the Brexit election but that went down like a lead balloon for the Conservatives.
Even if Labour had got rid of Corbyn and brought someone else is as leader then the media would still continue with the character assassinations and vilify them. The mainstream media in this country are a disgrace because a lot of them let politicians get away with claims they make even though they are false and refuse to challenge these claims.
Some of the stuff you read on social media or hear on voxpops by the general public is astonishing, there are people out there who work in the NHS, education etc who are voting Conservative because they don't like Corbyn or they repeat the rhetoric which is said in the media mainly by the right wing newspapers.
These claims that the Conservatives are going reverse austerity when they were the one's which heaped it on the country and then they say they are going to put 20,000 new police officers on the streets but are ignoring the fact they cut 21,000. Back in 2015 the Tories said they were going to build 200,000 homes for first time buyers, how many got built? None. 2 days after the 2017 general election they abandoned their manifesto.
Then you've got Labour who seem to be promising everything and anything which sounds like a wish list that even Santa couldn't deliver.
If the Conservatives win a majority then they will pass through a Brexit deal which isn't even Brexit and is Brexit in name only and then the people will be up in arms about it and if there is a hung parliament then we will be right back where we started and I honestly think if there is a hung parliament then we are probably looking at a 2nd referendum.
