It's so we can say we tried, we were told to get stuffed early August, now what person in the right mind would then go back for the same player and offer a loan???
The piece in the E&§ Has revealed a minus ten million spend
Wages have Been cut from 800k to 380k a week that's a saving of 420k a week!!!
Bravo for Jenkins and his big budget Doh

We have been lied to all along .... no intention of spending money ... no intention of competing .... back to fire sales in January...... hoping our current squad can keep us in touch with sixth place until then ..... hope vile don't open up to big a gap on us

Good ole West Brom. Promises of change in the beginning, some good signings in the middle and then a flat end where we are left short in key areas.

Let’s hope Big Dave can get the best out of this squad between now and January.

Best thing DM could do is keep quiet. If he comes out with "we tried" it will be another nail in his puppet coffin.
I'm not interested in lies, from him or Jenkins. DM now has 5 weeks to convince me his Signings - Strategy - Sales are what was needed and were in a better position. Anything less and I will be calling for his head. If he wants to be a scapegoat that's his business. Until then it's business as usual. COYB.
I will be judging him on results as it should be, I won't be waiting until January that's for sure.

Very disappointing end to the window, especially losing Chadli without any replacement.

The window seems to be a mess for a lot of sides, with teams failing to adjust to the new dates. But that's no excuse for us letting so many players go without any replacements lined up. The organisation of the club seems like a farce to me.

We still have a very strong first XI by Championship standard, but our squad has no depth. 1 right back, who might be needed at centre half if we have any injures. 3 strikers, one of whom has a track record of huge injuries. A central midfield compromising of players well over 30 with a backup of untried kids. There really is no room for injuries at all. Looks like a few seasons of mediocrity could be in order.

I think we've got to give them the benefit of doubt, big Dave has come out and said he doesn't see the point in signing overpriced or for the sake of it. Right approach, not too unhappy with it. Hopefully, the youth can turn it on when called upon.

Thing is mate every time we have been on TV Big D has come out and said we need two or three more,
I know for a fact that when we bought Mears in on a free it was to free up cash for another position, a player they had in mind as well as i speak regularly with Matt Wilson at the E&S,
Now Im not sure what happened but in fact all we did was sell Chadli !!
I now think Big D is being hung out to dry, you can see why Jenkins was keen to make him manager
Yes Sir Thumb down

I Strong budget in his eyes is 20 pence. He's clever! he never mentioned a figure or which budget? He never even said, he would spend any of the strong budget. Actually he talks in riddles like a politician, it's a complete waste of time listening to anything he has to say as it's worthless. Bit like the team will be in 12 months time. When his asset stripping is complete.

JENKINS CLASSICS
We have a strong budget.
We don't have to sell anyone.
We need to get our transfer deals done early.
Darren is in charge.
We have a lot to do this summer.
We need to hit the ground running.
