And an Old Firm Premiership confrontation finally looms closer!

Good comments. For starters, there should be an outright ban on the marketing of sectarian goods, back street and within the footie clubs themselves. It's baffling why that kinda ban has not been introduced in this day n age TBF but there are other sanctions and methods for the authorities to play 'hardball' on these issues and stop pandering to a sport where certain footie fans are using it as a 'platform of sectarian hate' and violence/other public disorder offences can ensue! It's also a violation of FIFA and UEFA rules that cover political, racist and sectarian behaviour within football stadia - the football concept is all about the sport and none of this shit!! No different from basketball, ice hockey, volleyball, rugby and cricket and that's the way it should be.

The really shameful things is both clubs despite statements to say otherwise are happy to let it continue as the evidence with banners inside the grounds prove. Okay you can't do much about the chanting but clamp down on the things you can change
The trouble is Wakey neither club tries that hard tae eradicate it because sectarianism is their oxygen, without it they wid be just 2 other scottish clubs. and as long as the idiots in charge o' our game cover it up by repeating the lie its a problem throughout our game, because theyre too scared tae pin it on the bigot brothers, then nothing will be done. Everybody and their dug were quick tae condemn Hibs fans for their jubilant celebrations at the SCF but they totally ignored the 90 minutes o' hate filled bigotry and the pyro technics fae the Huns end. Until somebody in charge o' scottish fitba' grows a pair(nae chance wi' regan and dumbcaster) and starts deducting points or closed door games ,it will ever be thus. Angry GGTTH

I just noticed that Man Utd play Feyenoord in Rotterdam @ De Kuip tomorrow night and that is a potential 'powderkeg' of a fixture!

Barton kept away from training after bust ups with Halliday and weir.
