It seems I am not alone in thinking this :

Ally McCoist : Rangers FC - No Gulf Between Sides

We'll need to keep a close eye on Ryan Christie and Aaron Doran if we're to progress. Billy McKay is being touted as their 'danger man', but his form has been pish lately. Doran and Christie are the real danger men.

Let's hope Lee Wallace is on his game, and that there's someone in defensive midfield that will follow Christie's forward runs.

I'm not sure who I want to play but I don't want Templeton on until we're in a position of strength (ie. a couple of goals up at least) or already losing. It's not that I'm worried about his effectiveness going forward, it's his tendency to give away cheap free kicks in dangerous positions that concerns me, and we've been the architects of our own destruction too many times in this type of game, both our recent defeats to DU being prime examples.

That stream was a bind, it kept stopping and rebuffering. At least I did not miss Macleod's winner !

Magic. Got the result we needed and we were just about the better team. I thought we struggled to break Caley down and make clear cut chances, but they were camped in pretty deep until we scored. And another clean sheet: are things looking up at the back? Undecided

Boys played really well thought we controlled the game for long spells, McCleod was stand out in midfield for me. For the first time in a while we are starting to look like a decent side. Good atmosphere considering the size of the crowd.

Yep, decent performance, nothing spectacular but perhaps beginning to build that 'fear factor' that McCoist was talking about last week. Certainly didn't expect Caley Thistle to set out to defend so much.
