Foster has really disappointed me. All that crap about loyalty and then this - the minute they show their colours then they need to be sold as fast as possible.

He no longer exists - Sam Johnstone on the other hand - shines like a beacon.

This is a classic case of a player needing to keep his mouth shut when it comes to his future!! This guy was a bit of a legend for you guys, I am certain that if he had said nothing so definitive with regards to his future then none of you would begrudge him taking the chance to continue to play in the PL, you would have been disappointed but you would have wished him well!! When will players ever learn!!

In view of what Foster said early on, I think he should come out with a statement to us supporters. No way will that happen though.

And what would you want him to say?? Maybe he had every intention of staying thinking he wouldn't get any offers, but one came up for him to continue in the PL and he wants to go for it. As I said earlier, he should have stayed silent or at best be very vague and leave his options open.

Do we know Foster definitely wants out?

For all we know it could be the club instigating the move to save on salary as I'm sure Foster is on a lot more than Johnstone. Although the reports are suggesting the fee for Johnstone will be a lot more, I'm betting fees will be similar in reality and we'll be saving a lot on salary while acquiring a younger model.

I do not begrudge Ben a move to the premier league ... he performed well last season in what was a badly managed, badly controlled mess all year ... he is 35, he has a short time left at the top levels ... disappointed that he will leave, his words of loyalty, being a baggie at heart are just words, I will wish him well, he has been a great keeper and a great servant of our beloved club ....... good luck Ben in your future. I was more disappointed when cryille left us for Coventry, but he is still loved by the Albion faithful .... Ben is worthy of our praise, our gratitude and our love .... go in Peace, see out your career at the highest level you can .......

Thanks for your efforts, your great saves, your dedication to the Albion.

Come on Sam, you were a seal but you can be an Albion legend, hope you sign and create the same devotion Ben has forged in his time with us.

Come on you Baggies ......
