At last a bit of news! Jack Fitzwater has signed a new contract until 2020.

Hopefully he gets a few games and takes up that substitute spot ?

Small, fast striker who was at Huddersfield. I’m sure Amelia and Snooty will be on to give us some info on him.

Not sure they will give you glowing endorsements to be fair although he does have a decent goal scoring record !

Can smell another bid from Burnley for Rodriguez and possibly Dawson again with Wells included as a sweetener.

According to Turkish outlet Takvim, The Baggies are preparing a formal bid for Lens and it is understood that #Besiktas would be willing to sell if the price is right and make profit of the 3mil buy they grabbed this year.

Is he any good? He didn’t pull up any trees at Sunderland, as ‘Arry might say

He was very good in his early career in the Netherlands at PSV Eindhoven and then at Dynamo Kyiv in Ukraine. I don’t think he was ever used correctly in England at Sunderland where he was more restricted defensively. Most Dutch winger’s natural game is to attack first and defence comes second or even third whereas in England under old-school English managers, defensive work and hard work comes ahead of actually attacking so he was always restricted.

If Big Dave would give him the freedom to play his natural game and run at teams instead of restricting his instincts by putting more emphasis on defence, then Lens could be a very good signing. In other words playing him the same way as Phillips and McLean were used won’t get the best out of him.
