Watching those labour leave voters in Birmingham last night was truly depressing.

To a man, voting for Boris. Filled with the usual soundbites from the media instead of actual facts.

The UK media has a terribly lot to answer for.

I know several people voting for the Conservatives and the reasons they give are as follows:

'Don't like Corbyn'
'Labour caused austerity because they ruined the country last time'
'Labour cause the mess and the Tories have to clean it up'
'Labour want a 2nd referendum'
'Voting Conservative in case I become wealthy'
'Boris is going to get Brexit done'
'The Conservatives are recruiting 20,000 new police officers and 50,000 new nurses'
'The Conservatives are the only real party who believe in democracy'
'Labour are the party of immigrants and the work shy'
'Socialism has never worked in any country, just look at Venezuela'
'Boris is a lad'

It's like a lot of people are believing and repeating the rhetoric of what they read and hear in the mainstream media.

It just confirms what a nutty world we live in when you listen to a lotta shit these lunatics utter to somehow convince themselves that they are "doing the right thing". In one Netflix film documentary re Donald Trump, he succinctly called this the "stoopid vote", the voters that he would gather and it would possibly get him into the White House - the similarity is so striking but very depressing to observe this kinda attitude and listen to the shit uttered.

I hear that Trump doesn't know where the idea that the US were after the NHS came from. If I remember correctly it was he who said that the NHS was on the table.
