The problem with a wish list like that is that some of them are simply unachievable in any society. A society free of prejudice????? Prejudice, hatred and racism will always exist, its how as a society we view it and deal with it that important, but it will always be there. I'm not sure the last one makes me laugh or despair?? Foreign policy cannot have a single style or goal, it has to be different for different countries and it has to have enourmous flexibility.
Privatization of industries is something I would be completely against, Governments have shown little to no ability to be able to run a service industry effectively, economically or without problems. The rail system is in a competitive situation with other forms of transport and as we have seen with the NHS adequate funding will always be a problem. Ultimately this will end up costing the average British taxpayer more money in terms of direct taxes for a service that will end up being barely adequate. I worked in the civil service for a time and to see the lack of understanding of any sort of efficiency or profit/loss or solving a problem without throwing more money at it was scary. The NHS is effectively a millstone round the neck of every UK government, to run it effectively will cost a lot of money and that will only come from taxpayers pockets.
