Barrow midfielder Sam Foley has signed a new deal to keep him at the club until 2025.
The 37-year-old, who has extensive league experience, has been a regular in the Bluebirds team since joining them in 2022, playing 92 games in all competitions.
Foley has made over 500 appearances in the EFL and National League since making his league debut for Yeovil Town in 2012, principally for Newport, Yeovil Town, Port Vale and Northampton, and also spent two seasons in the Scottish Premiership with St Mirren, where he was the club's player of the year.
He also helped Yeovil to get promoted to the Championship in 2012-13.
Barrow sporting director Iain Wood explained the reason behind offering Foley a new deal, telling the club website, external: "Last season, Sam clearly demonstrated the immense value he brings to the squad.
“He is still eager to continue playing and making a significant contribution to the team and his extensive experience is truly invaluable to the younger members of the squad."
