The thing with women's football which always catches me out is that I tend to estimate the strength or weakness of different countries based entirely on the men's game, and so often it's totally counter-intuitive. You see Argentina up against the likes of Mongolia, back what you assume is the winning horse, then suddenly the commentator pipes up with "how long can these plucky Argentinian underdogs, who'd never seen a football until last Thursday, hang on against the mighty world-conquering Genghisettes?"
