Rangers squad
He's had a great season. Did well at Marseille as well.

Good signing but he's no Carlton Cole.

Or Kazim richards for that matter.

That'll be why he's a good signing.

If he signs.

More than once has Mark Warburton said he will only sign players that fit into the dressing room and add value to the squad and Club. Any disruptive and/or prima donna characters are not wanted and will not be recruited.

Spot on Larry. Very talented player ability wise but total shitty character as has been proven at his many clubs. Also in the twilight of his career, so is he looking for the easy cash from the Rangers?. Actually shown to be a bit of a thug on the park, so may incur the wrath of Scotland's men in black.

He was player of the year at Burnley last season and hasn't been red carded for 3 years.

And coming for easy money he was on 40 grand a week at Burnley, he will be nowhere near that if he signs for Rangers.

Burnley have offered him a contract. If he comes to us it will be for much less cash but longer contract.

I reckon he'd be a standout in Scottish football.

Burnley offered him a year we offered 2 and he could have another 3 good seasons in him, he has looked after himself physically.
If he comes fantastic, if not then there are other targets for the magic hat.

40 grand a week ffs, what a massive drop he will need to make to play for the Rangers, can he possibly survive on about 6k now- in the big Scottish league ?

Do you have any more details of the negotiations you'd like to share?
