Well they usually pick from the top 3 in form in the month and until we stuffed them they were doing better than most. Looks like Dyche or Colin will get it though. Their stuffing in the Brighton game on the 29th Feb would likely have been March 1st most years, which would have changed the picture.

Everyone if you've got a spare few minutes and want a lot of laughs read the daily telegraph interview with Cellino. He publicly wants Mourinho or Ancelotti to come manage Leeds and says they haven't got any balls if they don't. Then when he's asked about Redfern's wife winning a sex discrimination case against him in court because he said to a leeds official that women should be in the kitchen or looking after the kids, he said in other words 'I love women, I'd much rather employ them than men' which sounds eerily close to the classic UKIP line 'I'm not a racist but...'. Literally satire is a word not in their environment is it. There's too much crap in it to mention in one post. A true comedy masterpiece.

How on earth has Dross McCormack got in the PFA team of the year ahead of our Nakki?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/cham...op-scorers - maybe?

He's had more shots on target than anybody and has improved his strike rate/goals per game a lot under Wagner compared to where he was with Powell. A full season of Wagbo football might see him up there in the top two and maybe, just maybe, breaking the 20 goal barrier. We still need a double figure scoring forward alongside him though. Pato needs to step up that part of his game if we keep him.

Well we've finally got justice for the 96. The inquest agreed that they were all killed unlawfully due to crushing in the central pens.
It also says that the behaviour of the fans was in no way a contributory factor.
Well I'm not one to argue with the decision of an inquest that has taken two years to come to a decision they could've come to in two minutes but........
The pens, the fences were all in place because of the behaviour of football supporters up and down the country for the preceeding two decades. This apparently was never questioned at the inquest.
So if you were a soccer hooligan of the 70s,you can breathe easily tonight. You had no contributing factor to the death of 96 Liverpool supporters.

I shouldn't respond to this but I am.

Why should it be questioned?

How many other fans have died at grounds that used the pen system put in place because of holligan behaviour in the 70s and 80s?

I think it's a good question to ask but apparently I'm wrong.

Watch this, it pretty much sums up just how much SYP were to blame and how Duckinfield and co lied to everybody

There's a good editorial from When Saturday Comes doing the rounds. Published a couple of weeks after the disaster. Well worth a read.
