Not The Town O'Clock News
For no other reason than utter curiosity, I just looked at how vaughany was doing at Brum. Had to chuckle when I saw he has as many yellow cards as he has shots on target. I'm bored and alone today!  Confused

Talking of world cups gonna watch a game in the cape town stadium or green point stadium either or. Be interesting to see what it looks like inside now

jjamez your timing has been unfortunately impeccable. Town go on a winning run and England go on a losing one as  you land in Seth Efrika. I'm sure lots of other things are making up for the sporting disaster though. Nowt like travel and a few bevvies with the locals to broaden your horizons. Thumb up

Well I'm still away for the game against franchise mk so three points there?

I've been here before and once again it hasnt failed to meet expectations, including the cricket! The fact that its 22 rand to the pound and about 25 deg each day probably helps too. The match yesterday at one of the world cup stadiums cost three pound for me which is probably a lot for some over here, more entertainment in the stands than on the pitch...They know how to party and are really welcoming! Much recommended!

£3 a ticket, that my friend is a bargain.

Mitzi and I have tickets for the Euro's next summer and can only wish our tickets were as cheap as that!

Speaking of FIFA, they are having a meeting on Friday to elect the next president...so expect the FBI to make more arrests

Yeah it also cost less than a tenner to watch the odi and the two t20's god knows what they pay in england now. Think it was over 40 last time i went to an international in england.

As for the football, the quality wasnt cracking but there was some rough diamonds on the pitch and again the price would be cheap, the problem is the distance and if there was any patience

Could have put this on the Wolves thread, but as we nearly signed him, whataknobhead.http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2016/02/22/rajiv-van-la-parra-risks-wolves-fans-fury/

We may sign him yet, and the more hatred that flows his way the more chance we have. Lads who I attend games with were impressed with him enough on Saturday to say they could see him doing a good job in our team with the way we set up.

Town fans down my side of the ground weren't exactly enamoured with him.

So if Town win tonight should we have a whip round to pay jjamez's beer and match expenses for a few more weeks? Should cost much more than £20 between us going on his recent posts.
