Tom Barclay a "journalist" at the Sun has called Butterfield an "unsung hero" on twitter

Unsung by whom exactly every town fan i have even casual contact with has said he is consistently our best player on the field and many saying he should be player of the season

just because Butterfield isnt making the the team of the weak all the time doesnt mean we dont love him, Lazy Journalism if you ask me

also i have seen the goal and it should come with an adult content warning as butterfields pass for the goal was just Football Smut

A mate of mine who supports the Wendy's posted a list of possible summer signings up for them, amongst them were
Wells (it would have to be. £1.5m plus IMO)
Hogg (no chance)
Butterfield (absolutely no chance unless they offer silly money)

Delroy's match fixing trial started today. Expected to last for three weeks.
People go on about how much footballers earn, but what about them lawyers spinning something like this out for three weeks? Try to get some real criminals in court, you tossers!

Due to our takeover we are going to be linked with anyone and everyone this summer!!!  We have never had money to spend, so god knows what we will actually do with it anyway!!

Thats always the big question. SGs problem is the lack of tactical ability and formation, he is a rigid 442 guy and continues to play players out of position to accommodate that formation when we actually have players better suited to 352 or 433.  Time after time we have seen teams come to Hillsborough, play 5 in midfield and completely stifle us, yet he persists with the formation and makes virtually no changes to combat the opposition during a game!!!  He is old school and to get out of this division in the right direction will take someone more progressive!!

As for candidates, the manager we face tonight, Mark Warburton might not be a bad choice now that Brentford have decided to let him go at the end of the season.  Paul Lambert is available still and there are other guys out of work who might fancy dropping a division to manage us now we have some ambition!!

Could be a big queue for Warburton in the Championship come the end of the season, if he's not so disillusioned as to walk away and say stuff it. You couldn't blame him if he did, but he has been well funded to get where he has so far.

Otherwise there will likely be a long queue of ex Managers from the bottom end of the Prem and some of those that missed out on promotion from the Championship looking for work too. Keep wondering if the likes of Hoddle or Wilkins would be willing to dip their toes in the managerial waters again, but as each season passes it's less and less likely.

I've seen Hoddle mentioned a few times as a potential director of football for us but not been for a while now. Of course 'arry's name will be banded about with every vacancy while ever he is out of work, but he won't move north of Watford Gap anyway!!
