Brizzle City won the Paint Pot again today, only team to win it 3 times under its various sponsors (the red and white half of Smoke on Stench and Carlisle have both won it twice) further enhancing their big fish in the wrong small pond reputation. There's more than a few of their fans on assorted forums that have enjoyed another winning day down the Smoke but hoping they are never in a position to even compete for it again.

Just read that Chopper McGill has died. Only 68. He played in the side when I first started going. A tough tackling half back the likes of which we could right do with now.
