Players for Pounds 2022-2023
I'm gonna stick with my choices, but I will add on pounds for final position. So if we finish 24th, I'll donate £24.

I'm confident that this won't cost me more than sick squid. Tongue Smartass Whistle Rolleyes Smile Big Grin Blush Confused Sick Doh Laugh

OK jjamez. I'll add these names (plus Boyle and Rowe) for now with the addition of anyone in the current B team or U19 squads as they are listed on the Town website. There's a slack handful played 1st team already. I'll ignore anyone out on loan for now unless they come back to us full time. I take it we start with Saturdays trip to The Blunts?

Didn't realised we signed Diarra so young though ..... Whistle

SHEP now has £14 from his World Cup picks. Both Mooy and Sabiri added to his haul with Round of 16 appearances, but with the Taffs and Mooy gone home (to Jockland in his case) that leaves Sabiri and Conor (the invisible man) Coady as his picks for the Quarter Finals.

jjamez has selected his picks, which I hope I've got right and Snoots has indicated he's willing to add £24 to the £1 he got for the League Cup goal v Preston. Assuming his other picks don't go goal crazy once they get the whiff of plum duff up their noses and into the New Year.

Blanks all round this weekend. Sabiri didn't get on the pitch this time (no surprise that Coady didn't either) and we played The Blunts off the park in the 2nd half (according to our over-optimistic jock coach) and the only thing we got for it was Hoggy and Thomas getting a yellow. That was so last season for me.

With Town continuing to fire more blanks than a team of Eunuch's at one of Cleopatra's birthday parties, not much to cheer about this weekend, again, other than Sabiri playing the first half of the 3rd place play-off in the desert.

This is a very lean year for me.

Well, like with ritchie who couldn't get any XKC from anyone last season, even the bloke in the dodgy van on the pub car park, it can suddenly all take off. Hell, we were in and around the play-off's last season and had £67 at 24 attempts last season, we've got £68 this season and we're bottom of the league. Yes we've had a World Cup bonus that SHEP went for and that has helped a lot.

It's a team game at the end of the day, don't get too disappointed if you're not realising your personal dreams (just yet) Ams, hell you two almost bust the bank last season. When tomorrow comes ....... and all that?

jjamez gets off the mark with £1 courtesy of Jordan Rhodes. Thumb up

That same goal scored £1 for SHEP too, plus the win finally brought home some bacon from our Roses fixtures making his total £4 for the day. Thumb up Thumb up

Although Evans was originally claiming it, and Oggy giving it him on Radio Local, the Preston goal was eventually given to Cunningham and Kesler-Hayden's stumbling tap in notched up £2 for ritchie and denied me 2 points in Snoots's Prediction League. Finally AmChaff weighed in with another £2 due to goals scored in the 3rd (Sweeney Todd) strip.

Me 'n' Snoots had the day off, just for a change. Whistle

A nice £9 haul that takes us through the £75 barrier and a chance of being in the £80's before the end of the year.
We were on £81 after our Dec 30th win at Forest last season.

Happy New Year all.

The Rotherham game took us past £80 before the end of the year with points for Snoots, SHEP and £2 for jjamez.

We followed this up with another £1 each for ritchie (thanks to Reece Burke's winner for Luton), Snoots and jjamez (again) who is showing he's already got the hang of this as he's already overtaken Snoots (or he's now dragging him along with him, whatever it's all £'s in the kitty) Big Grin
