That "Goal of the Month" from Yuto Mt. Fujiyama means ritchie finally gets a £1 for a Town goalscorer and AmChaff gets to join in the fun too. The rest of us are still standing on the corner with our hands in our pockets and showing little sign of letting the moths out before the early nights roll in. Oh - hang on, they just did.

Holmes went shot-shy when through one-on-one in a 'they think it's all over' moment in the 2nd half.

Alex Prat Chards goal gives ritchie another point, we're now on £50, full update after Blackburn.

SHEP's quest to extract £'s from games against the Red Rose County continues to bear little fruit. A pointless exercise for all of us this weekend to be fair. We're stuck on £50, we move on to that there West Larndan and QPR on Tuesday at the Subbuteo HQ Stadium.

I'll give my players til next week and the World Cup break. If they haven't kicked off by then, I will have to make some changes, for the good of the team and our charities.

Yes I thought during the World Cup I would get some money shelled out for Yuta and Sorba......but with Yuta out now for the rest of the season then I have to rely on Sorba getting games.
Will re-visit the pledges after the World Cup.

ritchie picked up another £1 from that there successful trip down the M1 to that there Larndan thanks to QPR's Dykes and AmChaff nets a 2-fer thanks to Josh Ruffels scoring a pair of worldies whilst wearing that bloody awful 3rd kit. That made it our most fruitful haul since our last long distance trip down the M1 to that there Luton. Big Grin

If they score in that kit, they wear it. Ditch the black. Like we used to say about Boothy; if he's fit, he plays.

Another damp squib to finish off the pre-World Cup games and with only Sorba the Taff to look out for on the sand dunes of Qatar that means SHEP is the only one in with a shout for the next month. Enjoy the World Cup in your own way, whoever you support. See the rest of you when we play The Blunts.
