You know i'll give some credit to van bronkhurst in that he seems a decent fella and doesn't play to the scum gallery like Gerrard and other rangers managers have in the past.

On the park RB should be stronger next week with players coming back, and big Gvardiol can move back to his natural position.

They are super fast on the break if opponents open up and try to win a match. I still think Eintracht Frankfurt will win this competition - very impressed by them, so dynamic and threatening v Barca and West Ham U and yet they sit 9th in the Bundesligue? I also think GVB and other Rangers players don't have a clue re the toxic nature of the footie club they work for. In the case of GVB, what an odd fit for such a decent character like him. There was a great video of him being "sworn in" at Ibronx as the new manager of RFC and the board member (Chairman?) conducting this ceremony gave a ceremony cup to GVB to toast the occasion. GVB returned the cup to the host who suddenly yelled out, "God save the Queen" before toasting the occasion!! Unbelievable!! The startled look on GVB's face "spoke volumes" re the anachronistic, backward nature of this footie club and the way they go about their business. That incident must have been an eye opener for the Dutchman. Obviously money plays a big part in these appointments anyway.

Looks like Aribo is off to Southampton for 6 mill plus add-ons..... That will likely never materialise.  This is a guy they were saying was worth 30 million not so long ago. Laugh

Kent and Fatso will likely run their deals down now.

Bassey sent off in his first game for Ajax LMAO.

Imagine bringing on your new 18 million euro defender against one of your biggest rivals and within 10 mins you are 2 down then a few minutes later he gets a red Laugh For a tackle Bobby Madden and co would likely have waved away.

Still he probably had a better debut than Souttar Laugh Laugh

PSV absolutely delighted re that "wild" red card!! Who would've guessed a dramatically short period on the pitch for such an expensive defender eh!! Laugh

Also looks like Sevco will play PSV (or Monaco) in the next quali round of the Champions League if they manage to get past the Union outfit from Belgium.

Stevie G already on the brink of "getting his jotters" by Villa!! A lotta fans thought Gerrard's decision to leave Rangers for Villa a strange one. He was well liked at Rangers and pretty well guaranteed European nights. But in reality this move to Villa was his perceived "stepping stone" to get back into the EPL and his ambition to eventually attain a managerial gig back at Anfield. Many observers perceived to exchange that for a club whose ambition doesn't seem to extend beyond mid table survival was a mistake. Proved correct!

I think he did it to test himself more than up here. It would have been easy to stay up here at Ibrox and just contest each year v Celtic. He probably knew that when the Anfield job comes available that the bosses there would be very unlikely to look to Scotland, so when the Villa job came up I think he had to take it to push himself and possibly put himself in the frame..........wonder if he regrets it now seeing the success Rangers have had in Europe whereas the Villa job is ramping up the pressure on him.

On the Villa forum there is a large growing anti Gerrard feeling and after Saturdays result I think he doesn't have many games to turn it around. No disrespect to Bournemouth but Villa are going to come up against some much bigger and better opposition in the next few weeks. Ironically one of the biggest dislikes is making McGinn captain and also playing him for 90 minutes each game whereas many fans would only start him on the bench!
"FOREVER UNITED"
