Wimbledon beat Liverpool 1-0 in the 1988 final. Dennis Wise played in the final for Wimbledon. He Later went on to play for Chelsea.

Wimbledon sold their soul to MK Dons, who having been knocked out of this year's FA Cup have got a second chance now that Chesterfield have been ordered to replay the tie after they fielded an ineligible player.

Chesterfield made it to the semi-final in 1997 against Middlesbrough and drew 3-3 where a goal was ruled out despite it crossing the line. Wimbledon knocked Manchester United out in a replay in the 4th round.

That 1997 semi final was refereed by David Ellery. He made some shocking decisions in that match, as he also did when he refereed the 1994 FA Cup final between Man Utd and Chelsea.

Manchester United have won 11 FA Cups there last back in 2004 against Millwall. United and Arsenal have both won 11 FA Cups.

Millwall have reached the semi finals on five occasions. The only one of those five that they won was in 2004 when they beat Sunderland 1-0.

Sunderland won there 1st FA Cup back in 1937 when they beat Preston North End 3-1

Preston North End hold the record victory for an FA Cup game when they beat Hyde 26-0 in 1887.

The 1887 FA Cup Final was contested between Aston Villa and West Brom at the Kennington Oval. Aston Villa won 2-0.

Aston Villa beat Glasgow Rangers in the semi final of 1887 at the Alexandra Recreation Ground, home of Crewe Alexandra, the only FA Cup semi final to have been played at this venue.
