Trump Watch activated!
Trump now threatening to "fire" his top medical advisor!? Was it all his fault Donald??? Nothing to do with you eh! We can read this populist President "like a book"! A reckoning is hopefully gonna happen at some point this and Trump consigned to the political annuls of history in ignominy.

Now the bbc's political correspondent, Jon Sopel, almost "driven to drink" after experiencing a gobsmacking, crazy 2hr 43 min pandemic press conference by a loon ball President, a guy that Sopel clearly "canae get his head around" because somebody should just enlighten him that this President is actually not normal - definitely an element of insanity attached to him as has been previously intimated. And so many State governors telling Trump to GTF on the coronavirus measures after Trump saying his power is "total" and supersedes US state governance.

And his supporters are once again lapping it up!!! Its all about deflecting any blame for him, he did nothing in February to prepare for this yet everyone was telling him it was coming. He says he stopped flights from China, but he didn't, he just stopped the Chinese flying to the US but allowed over 40,000 Americans to return from China after his "ban"!!!

At lest he has backed down on forcing states to reopen and said he is now working with them on it but its ultimately their decision. Todays press conference rant mentioned nothing about what he is doing to help the over 600,000 who have this virus nor the progress of getting the right PPE for healthcare workers or how he is going to help small businesses, its just all about him and how great he is!!

The Republican Party have managed to become the party of ignorance, they actually seem to wallow in it, it's now a central part of their make up. They are profoundly anti intellectual in their appeal. Their central core is now the lowest common denominator and that's the way the tories have gone too.

To be honest SCO I actually just don't want to hear him on the news any more. There is no barrel he won't scrape.

Bill Gates even "slamming" into Trump. It takes a lot to draw Gates into a slagging match with the likes of Trump but who can blame him. A President "fiddling" while Rome burns all around him and thousands are dying!! Thumb down

I must say the past week of Trump comments and behaviour just confirms how appallingly deceitful and inhuman this man actually is. I love the reference to Trump's chronicled 18k lies. This serial liar has been doing it for years and continues to astound observers worldwide - DEFINITELY THE WORST PRESIDENT IN US POLITICAL HISTORY!! The paradox is still why so many American still have some kinda regard for this moron!!???

Does anyone else think he is close to a breakdown? He can hardly speak coherently (even worse than normal) and just manages to walk into his press conferences and back out again.

Definitely the most appalling, disrespectful and irreverent behaviour I've ever seen from this guy in the past ten days and certainly requires psychiatric treatment of some sort. This President makes the previous one, Obama, look like some kinda demi-god in the way that he approached any challenging issue with the proper humility and statesmanlike qualities that are demanded of someone in such a high-standing position.
