A UK General Election and Trump already "sticking his nose" in it....

I concur with your end line re Farage/the Brexit Party voting option, and Farage being one of the main protagonists of Brexit ever happening although David Cameron rated higher than that in being the Tory idiot who "opened the door" to this shambles!! However, most people do not want Brexit to prevail in other regions of the UK - this is an issue in certain regions and is a phenomenon that is out of control and inexplicable to me and many observing Scots - I just don't get it and definitely put it down to what Donald Trump famously described as the "stoopid voters" out there in the country who will support me - the populist, unthinking vote esp after the negative implications and lies being explained for long enough!!

What a skidmark on the nations political underpants farage is.

How he gets so much coverage is bizarre.

I live in a seat which used to be a safe Tory seat but it's now a marginal. Labour currently hold it but the general consensus is that it's likely it will turn Blue and that a carpetbagger will represent us.

I really fear a Tory Government especially under Johnson, but I feel all the leaders are shit and useless.

Swinson has ruled out a coalition with Labour but hasn't ruled out a coalition with the Tories and I expect if there is a hung parliament that she'll jump into bed with the Tories like Clegg did.

Scotland will go independent, it's only a matter of time. Scotland/Wales and Northern Ireland are like the poor relation who get treated badly especially by the Tories.

Boris is just a step too far to the right for the Scottish people to deal with. The guys extremely dangerous in my book and can't be trusted. He should never be PM, but while the brexshit flag flies high down south he will probably get his majority.

He has already sold Northern Ireland out , his deal makes them part of the UK in name only.

Re NI, I think there will be a general election "repercussion" there as well and I think this will happen due to collusion between certain political parties against DUP seats as it becomes clear that the DUP did not represent pro EU interests of the majority of the NI population.
Re Swinson "going to bed" with the Tories, I can't see that happening mainly because she is diametrically opposed to the Brexit ideology/intentions of Johnson and his fascist chums. Her natural "bed partner" is Corbyn and the Labour Party and how she could possibly say that she would not accede to Corbyn being a UK PM while endorsing a similar despised previous PM Johnson is indefensible and it would destroy her own party and reputation even though I concur with Matt that she is a Tory infiltrator (she actually favoured a campaign to erect a statue for Thatcher huhhhhh!!!!) and a fanatical unionist who is disliked by many Scots up here and that includes me. Untrustworthy is the key word in this debate and the "rule of thumb" is DON'T VOTE LIBDEM FFS!! However, I sympathise with many English voters who have genuinely commented that they don't know who to vote for and chuckle at many northern Englanders who have queried why the SNP and Nicola will not be listed in their voting areas (for obvious reasons!!). The SNP/Scot govt stance has been steadfast from the very beginning since the Brexit debacle unfolded and they have represented the interests of a Scot population that is opposed to Brexit. Unlike the Westminster parties, the SNP does not need to splash out huge amounts of money to boost our pro-European and social democratic credentials to people in Scotland. People know it is the SNP that stands with them in protecting our place in Europe and delivering a fairer and more equal society. Socialism was mentioned in a previous thread as an important element in any political party or government and that element is actually within the fabric of SNP policies in government - there are so many examples of mitigating actions taken by the SNP government on issues regarding welfare, social well being, austerity - the list of measures is huge and representative of a progressive government that still does not have enough powers and is therefore hindered in the way that an independent country would not be affected.

Bits have been leaked of the report into Russian funding in our politics and its pretty worrying. Im more convinced than ever that Putin has dirt on Boris from his little visits to Italy. Even discounting that there is no way he should be PM, he and other senior tories are clearly compromised at the highest level, 9 of the Russian donors all have links to the Kremlin and Putin.

Vlads mates have been stashing their filthy money in London for a while now, whilst chiselling away at breaking up the EU on both sides of the pond by buying off right wing politiicians.

Thats what's really at stake here.... our democracy.

It looks like the security servs, MI5 etc, are pressurising the govt to release this report in the interests of national security and the public at large - now that is one big statement of intent to force a disclosure!!
And the Met Police holding back on Johnson's criminal investigation (when Mayor of London) to "protect his interests" really "takes the biscuit"!! I wonder when the bbc will finally "show their true colours" or if the Oxbridge Tory infiltrators within their senior ranks will be marginalised!!?

Note the US senate investigation using a photograph of Boris with a Russian agent wondering if he has been compromised.

This would be massive news elsewhere, but nary a mention of it in the UK press. What do they all have to hide ?

Release the Russia report now!

Now that fascist c### Farage not contesting the 317 seats that the Tories won in the previous election - call it an informal pact eh!! It could be a "game changer" for the country to have a fascist Tory govt foisted upon them!!!!!!!!! However, I hope millions of English voters realise what is going on (there is currently a bigger "remain" proportion of the UK population and that must somehow "come to the fore"!!), plus the huge implications to their country, and tell these fascist Brexit bastards to GTF, do not vote for them - DO IT IN THE VOTING BOOTHS AND REMEMBER TO TAKE A PEN ALONG WITH YOU AND DON'T USE THE PENCILS!!

Wowwwwwww!!! That didn't take long eh!!!!! The bbc exposed again as the Tory backing bastards that they really are!!!! The pitiful excuse that was given re this cover up for Johnson's gaffe yesterday at the Cenotaph just confirms there are elements in the bbc that ensure it resembles and behaves no differently from Russian state radio - an absolute disgrace but something that has been well sussed out up here down the years in Scotland by lotsa vigilant Scottish observers and Scot indy backing media people.
