Gayle might still be back. Bilic wants him

A 12 month loan with a buy option for Gayle as part of a Rondon sale makes sense. With £10 mil to Bilic to invest. Win win. JRod to stay. Bilic to sell Dawson and Phillips then get a new Olsson, Gera, Barnes, Fletcher, Mulumbu and let's stomp all over this division. That's what I call a short term plan !!

Blue Baggie, that sounds like a fine idea.

I think it’s important we sign 1 experienced goalkeeper (Myhill replacement), 1 right back (Holgate replacement), 1 right footed centre back if Dawson leaves, 1 left footed centre back (we’ve lacked one since Olsson left), 1 defensive midfield (Barry replacement), 1 centre midfield (upgrade on Livermore), 1 right winger (proper competition for Phillips if he stays), 1 left winger (Barnes replacement), 1 number 10 (Morrison replacement) and 2 strikers (Gayle and 1 other).

That’s a lot of business but now is the time to do it. The squad needs to be properly refreshed this summer.

Marcus Henriksen (CM) from Hull City and Marvin Mehlem (10) from Darmstadt are 2 of the players I’d like to see SB sign.

Hate to pizz on the bonfire ..... Re Dwight Gayle..

Mattwilson@expressandstar
Unfortunately I don't think anything's changed. Albion can't afford a permanent deal, and the possibility of another loan unlikely when others offering perms. Imagine it was mentioned by Bilic (naturally it would be) but can't see it happening I'm afraid

We keep saying 'Get them in NOW' but, in reality, the agents of the quality players we'd hope to get wait till the last deadline day.
It's then a stampede at 11.30 pm on Deadline Day. Same every year.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

Never say never, it depends if we are serious about getting back up. Let's face it if we don't go up this season we will have to sell what ever is left anyway. Lai really needs to come good or see his investment evaporate. He must have took gambles to amass his fortune, unless he is a thief or drug lord. Let's see what Bilic can do and we are due some luck. The good lord has let us suffer for the last 2 years. ITS OUR TURN.COYB.

Dawson to Watford E&S story ? I thought he was destined for Burnley.
It's early in the window so assume it's silly bid time and agents stirring interest ?
