Trump Watch activated!

Trump now calling Ford's evidence against Kavanaugh another one of these "fabrications", a previously used cheap political technique together with the associated Democrat conspiracy theory to impeach him. Mr Hyde has "crawled out the cupboard" again and, as previously commented by a number of Sb members on this board (+a prominent US psychoanalyst), this man is not normal!

Now Trump's UN envoy, Haley, resigns amid allegations of false financial declarations and sweeteners. Mere coincidence? I can't say I was ever a fan of this woman and the politics that she espouses but that is one more Trump associate to add to the list of sackings and withdrawals.

To be fair I haven't seen anything suggesting any allegations of false financial declarations and sweeteners against her, where did you see that? She was basically a puppet for trump at the UN, as I suppose all Ambassadors are to a degree. There has been talk of her running against trump in the next election for a while but that would be political suicide for her or any other Republican at this point!!

It's in that bbc report SCO - an anti-corruption watchdog accused her of accepting plane flights and other undeclared "sweeteners" - initiated the day before her resignation and possibly a case of "gotcha"!

Interesting article regarding General Flynn, a GOP Operative who died last year, WikiLeaks and Clinton’s emails.

Justice Kavanaugh’s actions during his testimony is going to be investigated for ethics problems.

I’m eager to see how Trump will act with Saudi Arabia if it comes out that Khashoggi’s murder was given the ok by people high up the Government.

He will denounce any intel that says that as fake news. There is no way the Saudis will ever admit to this, and while they stay firm on their story that they were not involved, he will support them - as virtually every other US President has done. If we ever find out what happened and who did what, Trump will denounce those people individually and not the regime as a whole.

Pardon my cynicism but I'd add there are $70B worth of reasons why Trump and this US administration will literally endorse the state assassination of a targeted individual like this latest poor victim and my heart "bleeds" for his family! Isn't it strange that we have laws in our country that cover any "small time" citizen murdering another individual and yet there are so many examples of nations who murder their own targeted individuals, some of them do it with diabolical bombing tactics, and they remain unchallenged and "stock free"!! This is the world we live in during the 21st century - a joke and the word "hypocrisy" sits raw in my throat!!

Lets be right its always been that way, this is not a new thing!! Governments or dictators or clandestine services have been doing this for centuries, and when they get caught or accused then they either justify it as a positive for mankind or outright deny it forever!! The US will not endorse this in public, not a chance of that happening, they will deny all knowledge and they will continue to back the Saudi position of having nothing to do with it.

Absolutely right! One such previous incident that always stuck vividly in my mind was the Rainbow Warrior sinking/murder in 1985 by the French Foreign Intelligence Service whose agents were caught and jailed in Australia but then the French govt "bought off" the Aussies. I honestly hoped at that time that the pair of them would be executed because they would've deserved that fate but Greenpeace and it's members and people worldwide watched in astonishment when two governments condoned this manslaughter/murder and they did a "deal" unchallenged!! Absolute hypocrisy and totally unacceptable!! I'm just watching Trump's interview re the Saudi position and his body language is a giveaway - arms crossed close to his body, no relaxed facial expression - a subdued DT not quite condoning the Saudi position but leaning towards that line, a shocker!!
