Benik Afobe, just days after signing on full-time for Wolves has gone on loan to Smoke with an 'obligation' to buy Afobe for £12m in January. Wolves flip a burger for a £1-£2 million transfer profit (or they cover his loan fee and wage bill, whichever way you look at it). 2 signing on fees too for Afobe. Nice work without even turning up for pre-season training.

Town legend Michael Collins is the new Bradford City head coach.
I'll wish him good luck but I think he's got a tough job on there. (13-06-2018, 20:04)Lord Snooty Wrote: Frankie Bunn is the new Oldham manager. And now he's got Jordan Rhodes's dad in as assistant. Looks like a drop to League 2 then for the formerly prolific striker.

Alex Smithies apparently, is on his way to Cardiff for £3.5m. And we do have a sell on clause.

Rhodes screwed his chances up of ever being a top Premiership player by following the money to Blackburn Rovers.
Still always be a Town legend for me....but a tainted one at that.

Rhodes has made a pile of cash since leaving Town but the one thing he's not done is cut it in the Premier League, failed to get there with Rovers, moved to Boro who pretty much didn't think he was good enough and bombed him out to Wednesday who now can't get him off the wages fast enough, luxury item that isn't good enough for the top flight
