Aye! We'll miss his goals that he can 'bang in' v Hearts lol! IMO this is a good piece of business by Hibs and I believe there is a 'sell on clause', something that Hibs have brokered in the past. Re the striking vavcancies created, now that Holty and Jason are gone, it will be intriguing to see how Lenny covers his striking options. Simon Murray can't do it all on his own and anyway he's a different type of player compared with Jason.

As we've all see NL has a keen eye for a player I agree selling JC could prove a good bit of business by HFC. Freeing up money for wages to pay players he brings in.
Jason wish you all the best at Nottingham Forrest son hope it oes well for you. A player that was cast aside by one club but HFC tok a chance on him and he's proved his worth to HFC thanks for the memories.

It looks like Fraser Fyvie is possibly heading for Dens Park after turning down a new deal with Hibs. This is a bit of a surprise if this scenario does unfold and I wonder if being prematurely substituted in a Scottish Cup semi-final could be a factor but Dens Park???

Knocked back a 3 year deal on top flight money..... apparently lennon was furious with his attitude and when he changed his mind and said he would sign the offer was withdrawn. Maybe they will patch it up,but the odds on that are probably slim at the moment.

Pre season starts this week, and we are needing 4/5 players that can play in the top flight.

Some rumblings about that the club are close to tying up a 2 year deal for Marciano.

Yep! Apparently it's a £150k deal with a 50% sell on fee. That'll hopefully wrap up the goalie positions with young Ross Laidlaw providing decent back up.

That would be a good bit of business.

Fyvie in a fury to the media, but he had a deadline to 'agree terms'. And chose to look elsewhere. Lets get guys in that have that passion to play for hibs. I think the boss is looking for that, and us fans appreciate it more.

That's really good news about Marciano. As for Fyvie, cheerio pal, you had your chance but thought you could get a better deal elsewhere. Nae luck!
Cabbage is still good for you

Aye! Tough luck eh! I just hope Lenny brings in another decent mid player who will seamlessly fit in to the Hibs squad. Is Hendo still a possible target?
