Just announced this morning that Tommy passed away peacefully and this great 'character' of that historic 1960-70s Hoops side will be fondly remembered for some of his great long range strikes from his full back position. He did have his wild moments as well v antagonistic S American sides like Racing Club but was generally such a well known character within a great Celtic team. RIP big man!

A great character and fully committed player with thunderbolt strikes. He would walk into any team. RIP, Tommy.

Black and White TV Lisbon RIP
Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

Before my time but my auld hibby dad attests to his greatness. He comes from an era where Scottish football was admired around the world.
Played for the hibees in a testimonial match and he was still pretty decent. Imagine that hahaha
RIP.
