TBF we didn't look like scoring when I left. Only left early one other time since, when we were battered at home by Blackpool in our first season back up. It was about -2 degrees, atmosphere was shit and Wednesday made Blackpool look like Barcelona RE: Match Thread - Bolton Wanderers - consilio - 09-09-2014 All the moments of pain are worth it when we actually score in injury time! One of my favourites is when Mark Crossley scored from a corner. Can't remember who it was against but I can see the header as clear as day! RE: Match Thread - Bolton Wanderers - Thurnscoe_OWL - 09-09-2014 southampton 3-3 RE: Match Thread - Bolton Wanderers - St Charles Owl - 09-09-2014 I remember those days when we were kept in the away end for 30 minutes after the game!! Remember once being on the away terrace at Stamford Bridge for ages after a game, they even turned out most of the lights and being in an empty stadium aside from a couple of thousand Owls fans was funny. Didn't stop the Chelsea fans from waiting to have a fight though!!! RE: Match Thread - Bolton Wanderers - Statesideowl - 09-09-2014 Quality stories I remember our lot being held back at Old Trafford after the coca cola cup semi final first leg I think. we lost 1-0 to a gigs goal a lot of fans were singing dam busters and imitating aeroplanes. Manure fans went mental and were waiting for us all outside, being only 13 at the time me and my mates legged it to the coach (Which was hit with a brick as we pulled out), we didn't fancy going toe to toe with adults RE: Match Thread - Bolton Wanderers - Maddix - 09-09-2014 My old man was a twat for leaving early I often got to the five arches, heard a roar and thought 'xxxx 'ell me dads done it again' Once tried to leave at half time at a night match against Carlisle but the stewards wouldn't open the gates It was an absolute monsoon and they eventually started transferring people with kids off the kop into the North and South stands. RE: Match Thread - Bolton Wanderers - Washington - 09-09-2014 Still catching up after my holidays Based on the scores already on the door on page 1, I will go for 2-0 Drenthe DHDDD Thought I'd managed to update my avatar too .
