UEFA order Rangers to close part of their stadium due to racist/sectarian chanting!!!

Scottish Football Association - ARE YOU WATCHING AND TAKING HEED OF THIS RIGHTFUL ACTION!!!??? At last, an accountable footie organisation is observing this poisonous footie club and dealing with a clear violation of FIFA/UEFA rules governing hateful chanting against other ethnic groups of people incl political figures!! Rangers formal statement referring to a MINORITY of their support at Ibronx v Saint Josephs????? This is utter bullshit and no way this was just a minority of their toxic fans offending in this way and any impartial observer at this match would confirm that fact!! Next offence - close their stadium!!! Lets get serious and that applies to the totally useless SFA re this type of issue that they keep ignoring!!!!

What a stain they are on Scottish football. ...."Racist behaviour which *includes* sectarian singing"

Not long after a high profile campaign was launched to prove that they are an all inclusive club for anyone and everybody and not merely a vehicle for criminal, sectarian, right wing filth they have managed to force another Scottish clubs gates open, wreck a disabled fans section, nearly had a theatre shut down and now launched racist/sectarian abuse at an amateur club from Gibraltar.

2 games into the season FFS Laugh Laugh Laugh They will come out with the usual excuses "just a minority" "whit aboot sellick" "peter lawwell's at UEFA now" etc etc etc.

They were actually "at it" last night in Warsaw as well!! So there is a good chance their stadium will be closed to all fans if UEFA is made aware of this similar offence!!

They just don't seem to get it. They are still trying to wriggle out of it. They will end up playing to a closed stadium and will still be arguing about how Timmy is worse, its tradition and its a conspiracy etc etc.

It breaks the rules you xxxx morons. Its racism and sectarianism, and UEFA have clamped down on it throughout Europe.

For what its worth I think what Dave King has said in response is spot on......BUT.

You can't go around condemning this kind of behaviour in one breath, and with the other sanctioning orange tops and sash bash's in Northern Ireland on the other and then expect never the twain to meet.

Consistency is required if we are to believe they really want to change. Because we know the SFA won't make it happen, but UEFA will at least try.

Interestingly on radio Scotland the news of this closure was met with disbelief last night, sevco are a racist club OFFICIAL and there you have it in black and white. They couldn't even contain their venom against a team of nobodies from Gibraltar, because of their kafflicky sounding name. Last trip to ibrox was enough for me, their hatred of catholics and Irish people is so thick you can almost swim in it. Never again.

The timing of this campaign launched by king now feels suspiciously and cynically timed to try and aid their case with UEFA but it's entirely possible they have crossed the threshold already and will be facing stadium closure. They sing the same filth at every game so they'll have sung it against the other teams they've already played in Europe and if they make the group stages no way will they be able to stop themselves.... It goes against their WATP attitude.

Silence from the SFA. Spineless bastards.

Well Legia is another kafflick footie team and they will have a decent Polish support next week at Ibronx - lets also see Rangers fans "reaction" eh - they never fail in the consistency of their racist and violent responses to other fans who taunt them for what they are!! Note their ban is also down to many observers actually informing UEFA by letter or e-mail with video evidence!! I wish a lot more fans would do this because if they did it the Govan club would be close to receiving an outright ban - THEY ARE SERIAL OFFENDERS, HAVE BEEN FOR DECADES!!! EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL RIOTS IN MANCHESTER ALL THESE YEARS AGO ANYBODY AND NEVER CHANGED????? And the SFA??? F###### useless!!

Truly surreal hearing that thicko Derek Ferguson say on BBC Scotland that he has no idea about the connotation of rangers orange tops Laugh Laugh in front of an incredulous Mikey Stewart.

Billy Dodds 'it was to honour our dutch players'..... 'The Rangers family have long memories and don’t forget”

Just when you think they can't possibly stoop any lower.

I call this nonsense part of the "Rangers Appreciation Society" which is full of bigots and sectarian deniers who come out with the loada bullshit to cover for the clear "poison" that is practised at Ibronx by RFC and its fans - THEY DO IT WITH IMPUNITY, BEEN DOING IT FOR YEARS!! Re Mikey Stewart, he recently vilified Rangers FC and its fans on bbc Sportsound after another one of their sectarian outbursts at Ibronx - he started off the conversation by querying, "Did you guys listen to that sectarian chanting from the Ibronx stands"? Then he moved on to how authorities in Scotland should actually be tackling it as it is totally unacceptable in this day and age!! Tom English concluded it should happen but it won't - no appetite for it but this story is as much about intimidation and bullying of said toxic practise! I hope UEFA eventually "shut them down" and provide a major crisis for the likes of the SFA and possibly even the Scottish govt - RACISM IS A CRIME, SECTARIANISM IS A CRIME AND THEY VIOLATE FIFA RULES THAT COVER RESPECT FOR RACE AND COLOUR.

RANGERS CHARGED BY UEFA AGAIN FOR SECTARIAN OFFENCES BY THEIR FANS IN WARSAW V LEGIA WARSAW (as mentioned in my previous thread #3)!!! They'll never learn and Rangers trying to pre-empt the next UEFA move by issuing a formal statement of condemnation and refusing to take any tickets for their next UEFA away match???? But they may not have another UEFA game this season - that may well be convenient before their whole stadium is shut down by UEFA!!!

Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh

Not taking any tickets for the next away game ? Get to absolute xxxx. That punishes the away club who have done nothing wrong, as opposed to this bunch of racist, bigoted arseholes who absolutely deserve the stadium closure that is no doubt coming.

I love their pathetic arguments about how they have to stop doing it - not because its wrong and disgustingly ignorant behaviour - BUT because the "club will be punished"

On Sunday they will belt out the same poison that UEFA are rightly punishing them for to no sanction from the SFA.
