Been confirmed this morning.
The question now is, what experience does he have of League Two football?
Has the Burton chairman been put under pressure from the PC brigade the appoint a black manager?
Personally, the colour of a man's skin is irrelevant and when we appointed Chris Powell at Huddersfield, that was the last thing on my mind. But a lot has been made of this issue recently in the media.

I must admit that I wondered if that was a factor in his appointment. Bizarrely before this Rooney rule was mentioned it wouldn't have occurred to me. I hope he does well. Not because he is black but because I have a soft spot for Burton Albion. A good manager will be a good manager whatever the colour of his skin. Yes, we should have more in the game but not for that reason only. Let us judge them on what they do whether they are black, white or green.
Good luck JFH and Burton Albion.
