Chris Antoniazzi
Montrose FC have once again been busy in the transfer market, this time signing Aberdeen talented youngster Chris Antoniazzi on a season long loan deal.

The 18 year old attacking midfielder is a product of the SFA Performance School at Hazlehead and has featured for the Dons U17’s and U20’s, including a 3-0 victory as recently as Tuesday night in the Aberdeenshire Cup against Buckie Thistle.

The Scottish Youth internationalist also spent a couple of years on Celtic’s books but returned to Pittodrie last season where he joined the first team squad in a mid-season training camp in Dubai making his first team debut in the process.

Mo Boss Stewart Petrie said, “Chris is being talked about a lot at Aberdeen and I am delighted to be able to bring him to Links Park. He will bring an exciting youthfulness to our midfield options and completes a very productive week for us as we continue to strengthen our team ahead of the start of the league campaign against Arbroath at home tomorrow.”

This brings Petrie’s squad size for the coming season to 20 following the addition earlier in the week of talented young Hearts striker Euan Henderson, on loan until January next year.
