BURTON Albion have signed David Templeton on a two-year deal – the second new signing of the day for the Brewers.
The 29-year-old winger was last season on the books of Scottish Premiership side Hamilton Academical and has previously played for Rangers and Hearts.
Templeton was out of contract at Hamilton and was offered the chance to join the Brewers and make his mark in English football.
Brewers manager Nigel Clough said: “He’s had a rough time with injuries the last couple of years but hopefully he’s now fully fit and looking to get some games under his belt.
“We need creativity and a spark at times and he’ll provide those for us. He’s still got a good few years left in him and we are hoping that he will provide that little bit of something different for us. He can play wide or can play inside as well.
