Leeds United can announce Andy Lonergan has today left the club by mutual consent.

The goalkeeper rejoined Leeds for a second time in August 2017, having previously played for the club from 2011-2012.

Lonergan departs having made a total of nine appearances for the Whites in all competitions last season.

Speaking about his time at the club, Lonergan said: “I really enjoyed being back at Leeds United again and I’d like to thank all of the staff and players I’ve worked with every day.

“The biggest thank you must go to the supporters though and I wish the club the best of luck for next season.”
